It’s linkup day! I don’t think I shared this photo before, but it’s one of my favorites from our wedding. Ok, I keep saying that about every single wedding picture, so I should just say they’re all my favorite lol. Those are the converse I made for myself, and my husband customized his on the Converse website. They were my ruby red slippers so to speak. They took a while, but they were super fun to make, and I think they came out great. If you’re interested, I found a tutorial by the person who owns the Etsy shop that I got the assortment of rhinestones (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7), glue, and the wax pencil. All you do is glue the rhinestones onto the shoes and you kind of just work as you go. I didn’t follow the tutorial fully because I wanted to do my own thing, so there was a lot of mixing and matching of rhinestones, which is why I linked so many of them.
I’ve been working on a lot of projects for Youtube, and that includes lots of research. Currently I’m working on a series about NXIVM. If you haven’t heard about it, it’s a sex cult that was at one point disguised as an MLM company. I know a lot of people have heard about this, but I really wanted to dive into it a little more myself.
Anyway, let’s move on to the linkup!

Those shoes are fabulous! I think one of the things I like most about weddings is how much everyone personalizes them. So smart of you to wear comfy shoes… I spent most of my wedding day barefoot because my shoes were killing my feet (but I didn’t want to have to hem my dress!).

OMG, this is the best photo ever! I love how creative you both were with your wedding footwear. I hope you wear those shoes all the time! I still wear my wedding boots frequently, 11 years later!
