Picnic Table Dress & a Linkup

PICNIC TABLE DRESS

Today I’m wearing what my husband likes to call my picnic table dress.  I guess, whenever he sees gingham he just thinks of a picnic table, whereas I see this dress and I think of Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, which is my favorite movie.  My mother in law actually sent me a pair of ruby red slippers several months back, they made their debut in this post.  I’m thinking for Halloween this year, I might have the perfect Dorothy outfit.  The only difference is I would have two Toto’s, which I mean, two’s better than one anyone because I can’t get enough of my puppies.

BOOHOO SHOPPING SPREE

As you can tell, I’ve been sharing a lot of items from Boohoo, well it’s because I went on a bit of a shopping spree a few weeks back.  I don’t dress up that much anymore because working at a shop, you get dirty.  Even if you are just doing the office stuff and really tending more to the customers than anything else.  One little tiny walk through that shop and your brand new white shoes will be covered in dirt, oil, and who knows what else.

A NEW TWIST ON BUTTERFLY CLIPS

To any of my millenials or even mothers/aunts/grandmas of millenials, do y’all remember butterfly clips?  I cannot tell you how many of those things I had.  Well, of course they made a comeback a few years ago, and are still going strong, but I wanted to do a little twist on this childhood trend of mine.  I saw one of my favorite Youtubers, Bailey Sarian wearing these on Instagram, and I snatched them.  I actually bought a lot from Amazon last week.  Of course that will also be shared over the next few weeks.
