MATERNITY WICKED WITCH HALLOWEEN COSTUME

It’s time to kick off the spooky season on the blog with this maternity wicked witch Halloween costume!  Well, it’s not really a costume per say.  It’s a maternity wicked witch Halloween costume meets modern day fashionista.  Instead of having a witch hat, I chose this floppy hat.  In addition, I just went ahead and wore a maternity dress with socks and my ruby red slippers from my mother in law.  If you don’t know, my favorite movie of all time is The Wizard of Oz.  When I was younger I would always dress up as Dorothy, and pretended my German Shepherd was Toto.  I do have a Dorothy outfit for this spooky season but that will be up a little bit later this month.

BRING ON SPOOKY SEASON

I may be really pregnant right now, but I’m so ready for spooky season.  This has always been my favorite time of year because of my birthday and Halloween and now I get to celebrate my husband’s birthday, our anniversary, and the birth of our baby.  At the time of writing this post, I’m at 37 weeks.  All of my October looks were taken earlier last month so you don’t really see the progression of the belly.  Although, when I post my baby shower photos then that’ll be the most up to date bump photo.  This is my favorite time of year, and I’m so happy that baby will be born during spooky season.  Maybe baby will be here in time to be dressed up for Halloween.  I think my sister in law said she bought a little Halloween costume for the baby so that’ll be fun.  As of the ultrasound last Thursday, baby is measuring approximately 6lbs5oz.  They said that I’m back on schedule for the due date, so maybe the week prior was just because I ate too much for lunch or something.  I don’t know, I’m just trying to figure it all out.
