SCARLETT IS HERE!
Well, little Miss Scarlett decided that she wanted to make an appearance into the world a few weeks early. She was born just in time for my birthday, and she was the best birthday present I could ask for. She was born on October 7th at 10:57 am. As I’ve said before, I want to keep her private, so I’ll be covering her face in every picture. I’m sorry if this bothers some, but I hope most can respect that decision. This may be because of all the true crime content I consume but also because of my Youtube channel. While my channel isn’t even at 10k subscribers yet (almost there), that’s still essentially almost 10,000 strangers watching me. However, as you can see by future posts, I did schedule a lot of content ahead of time so for the rest of October I’ll have pregnant belly pictures.

BIRTH STORY
I’m not going to go into full detail, but I will give a general gist of what happened. Last week I started feeling Braxton Hicks contractions so when I went to the OB on October 5th, we checked to see how many cm dilated. It was only at 1cm at the time and my OB said I could go into labor, or it could stay at 1cm until the end of pregnancy. Well, on October 7th at about 1am, I felt as though my water had broke. I wasn’t sure if it was my water breaking or maybe I just peed myself because all of the movies show a huge gush of water everywhere. Well, needless to say I waited a little and felt another mini gush of water like the first one.
I started researching on my phone “how to know if my water broke” “how to know if I’m in labor” “when should I go to the hospital after my water breaking” and the list goes on. At around 2am I started feeling mini cramps. I thought maybe I had just eaten a little too much of something and my stomach was just hurting. Then the cramping turned into contractions. 2:30am came around and I woke my husband up to tell him “I think I’m in labor, I think it’s almost go time.” My OB told me that if I could talk through my contractions I didn’t need to go to the hospital. Well, I took that literally haha. I rearranged my hospital bag and even started to wash my nursing bras because I needed them for my bag. Which is actually a post I’m going to publish in the future about what I would’ve done differently with my hospital bag. My husband kept telling me it was time to go and I refused, but then the contractions got really bad.
We checked into the hospital at 4:44am on October 7th. At that point I was admitted due to being 4cm dilated. Fast forward to 10am when it was finally time to push. By 10:57am on October 7th, our little baby girl Scarlett was born. That was the day that our lives changed forever. I could stare at her all day every day.

BEBE, MAMA, DAD, & PUPS ARE DOING WELL
All of us are doing very well. The pups are very protective over her and love her so much. When we introduced them to the baby (in case anyone needs to do this in the future) we did go through a process. My husband went inside the house first and took Lilly and Zero outside but before he did that, he grabbed Scarlett’s blanket and hat from the hospital. While my husband was outside, he had the dogs sniff Scarlett’s items. In the meantime I walked inside the house with Scarlett and went inside the nursery with her. Then, once I put Scarlett in her crib, my husband and the pups came inside. They went straight to me and then when they smelled Scarlett they went straight to her crib and were just sniffing with their tales wagging all over the place. The both of them are in love with Scarlett and I’m so happy that they’re all going to be friends.
LET’S MOVE ON TO THE LINKUP
Because I’m very exhausted, this post is going to be very short but let’s move on to the linkup!
