IMPROVISING OUTFITS
Ok, funny story about this dress. I wore this dress to celebrate my eighth blogiversary last year and I wanted it to be a maternity dress but that didn’t work. For shits and giggles I decided to see how it would fit postpartum. Well, it kind of did haha. I couldn’t use both straps, only one. This is due to my ta ta’s being too big. I’m currently a milk factory so I wasn’t expecting to fit in the boob area at all. I had to improvise and hide the second strap. I’m sure if I never told y’all or if you never saw this dress previously I could totally fool you. My plan was to wear another outfit but sadly I still can’t fit into it. I can’t get the skirt over my legs just yet.

SOCIAL MEDIA IS SUCKING ME IN AGAIN
I think I need to take another social media hiatus. During my last one I was able to get so much done. In that time I was able to focus on content rather than just scrolling aimlessly. Now that we’re all adjusted to the new house and moved in things have calmed down. Well, calmed down as much as they can with an almost six month old. Anywho, I have so much content to create primarily for YouTube that I might have to take another hiatus. If you don’t want my videos, a lot of them are heavily focused in researching and educating. There is some commentary but the deep dives are a lot.
I’m currently working on how to create a video about the MLM Tori Belle. I was able to get on a zoom call with the CEO, Laura Hunter, so I can’t wait to create this video. What I will say is even though Laura and I don’t see eye to eye on the multi level marketing business structure she’s actually pretty cool. I enjoyed talking with her and it was so refreshing to have an adult conversation without being called an MLM hater.

I HAVE A SHOPPING PROBLEM
This past weekend I may or may not have gone a little nuts. I bought Scarlett a bunch of new toys that are focused more on her development and things of that nature. She’s about ready for a lot of the toys I bought. Of course I had to buy her, her first tool set so she can match her dad. Her tool set is silicon though.
I also bought myself some things. I’m hosting my sister in law’s baby shower in two weeks and decided I needed a dress that would be comfy, cute, and I’d feel confident in. Aka, a dress that will cover this mom bod of mine. I found two from Target so im going to decide which one I prefer. In addition, Scarlett will be getting some new shoes in the mail as well. Sooooo, it’s not all for me, but I do love shopping for all of the cute baby things!

FINALLY DECORATING
Now that things have settled down we’re finally decorating and making this house a home. This past weekend my husband worked on his little man cave corner while I started getting some things ready for Scarlett’s room. Sadly, since the quality of materials are shit nowadays, my husband couldn’t help me finish the nursery. While he was putting his area together the pipes holding up shelves in the picture broke. He had to go back out to the store and buy new ones.
Because of this, it put his project on delay and by the time he was done it was dinner time. After dinner I wanted to just relax and so did he so Scarlett’s room will be finished next weekend. At least that’s the plan. Oh also, if anyone has any suggestions on good places to get photos printed on good quality canvases let me know because I’m putting two photos in the walkway preferably on canvases.
