STILL WEARING MATERNITY CLOTHES
Well, I’m still wearing maternity clothes. I still look pregnant too but that’s ok. Some days I’m ok with it and others I get bummed out. I actually felt really good in this outfit and more like myself.
Once you’ve been wearing loungewear for a bit when it comes time to actually dress up you’ll feel good in pretty much anything haha. Well, maybe not everything because I did go through three outfits before I decided on this one. I was trying to wear some pre pregnancy clothes but decided that wearing my maternity clothes is perfectly fine.
WE ACTUALLY LEFT THE HOUSE!
The day I took these photos we were leaving the house for once. If I’m being completely honest, I hated it. We were going to my brother in laws for Sunday dinner with my mother in law and father in law. There was so much that we had to pack up into the car for two/three hours worth of being out.
Scarlett has started solids so dinner time is solid time. That meant we needed to grab some food and the high chair. We didn’t have to grab the high chair but my husband insisted. Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing family but it’s so much work to leave the house now. I thought I’d maybe be happy to leave the house but that’s a big nope. Dressing up (even if it’s in maternity clothes) was unnecessary but I figured maybe I could look presentable every once in a while.

UNPACKING/MOVING UPDATE
We’re 90% unpacked! I’m not unpacking with my MIL anymore for the rest of their stay. This is because a lot of the leftover boxes are my husband’s, my computer/office stuff, or just random things that we can go through alone. My MIL helped me with most of our things. She loves organizing. Emphasis on the words loves organizing. Now, pretty much our entire house is all organized and now I just have to maintain it. Maybe life can go back to normal now, or whatever normal is with an almost 5 month old haha.

Monica, this dress is adorable and I am freaking dying over those fabulous shoes! You look great, my friend. I still have some maternity things that I wear and my youngest will be 9 in a few weeks! No need to get rid of perfectly fine clothing just because its label says maternity!
