SPRING FORWARD
It’s that time of year again. This weekend we’ll all be changing our clocks. I couldn’t be happier. If you’re like me, you need daylight as much as possible. When it stays light out for longer I just feel more alive and it makes me motivated to do more. With it already starting to change and it being lighter outside for longer I have been getting more accomplished. Not to mention, Scarlett and I now go on two walks instead of just one a day. Because it stays darker longer if her afternoon nap lasts a little longer than usual we still have time to get a walk in. It’s been great for her because she gets more fresh air, especially because we have a really great walking area in our new neighborhood. This also helps me out a little bit because it gets me moving. I want to be able to keep up with this little girl of mine once she’s mobile.

SCARLETT IS FIVE MONTHS OLD!
Scarlett turned five months old on Monday. I still can’t believe that she’s been here for five months already. Looking back at pictures and comparing what she looked like then to now is just so amazing. She’s grown so much and learned even more. I’ve said this a few times already but as much as I want her to stay itty bitty, I want to watch her develop and learn even more. The way she examines everything with those big eyes is just amazing to watch. When people say that this is a different kind of love, they’re definitely not wrong.
MY GOING FOR A WALK LOOK
Luckily for me the weather has been great. Which means when Scarlett and I go for walks I’m able to wear shorts again. Although yesterday was a bit chillier and it rained on and off so we only walked around the yard with the pups. I didn’t want to get stuck in the rain, especially with it being a little cold.
MY IN LAWS LEFT
I’m actually really sad about this. Thankfully, I’m one of the lucky ones who has a great relationship with her in laws. My in laws came to help us with the move and my husband’s dad did so much work on the house. Whereas my mother in law helped me unpack and organize the ENTIRE house. In addition she helped with the baby and cooked/cleaned for us. That’s not why I’m sad that they left though. The house feels kind of empty without them here. Maybe that will go away once I get used to the house more. I get like this whenever someone visits and then leaves. As introverted as I am, I’m a little different when it comes to family.
LET’S MOVE ON TO THE LINKUP
Now that I rambled, let’s join the linkup!

Super cute walking clothes, Monica! I love that you are able to get Scarlett outside a bunch now that spring is almost here. I am so ready to start my front porch sitting!

I know the feeling of loss once company has gone.
It is a loving feeling!
So happy you were able to get outside.
