ON WEDNESDAYS WE WEAR PINK

I think I’ll always love the color pink and I’ll always be ok with saying “on Wednesdays we wear pink.” Mean Girls was such a great movie and still, to this day, gets referenced by so many people. I could probably recite the entire movie with how many times I’ve seen it. April 30th marks 18 years of Mean Girls. I can’t believe it’s been 18 years. Time seriously flies and it feels like just yesterday I was watching it.

BABY SHOWER DRESSES

I bought this dress and another one to pick from Target for the baby shower this weekend. Spoiler, I’m keeping both. They both hide parts of my body that I’m very self conscious about at the moment. Going back to the mention of a baby shower. I don’t think I said anything here yet but I’m hosting my sister in law’s baby shower this weekend. We’re throwing it at our house and I’m excited but nervous at the same time. This is her first girl (she has two boys) and she’s never had a shower before. I just hope it’s a great shower and she enjoys herself.

SIX MONTHS ALREADY!

Another side note, Scarlett will be six months old tomorrow! I cannot believe it’s been 6 months already. We just pretty much finished the nursery on Sunday. We didn’t decorate the nursery in our old house because we knew we wouldn’t be there for long. That’s why we decided that we would make her current one an awesome nursery. Or at least what we think is awesome. We decided with the Alice theme kind of on accident but for her 1st birthday I want to have an Alice theme. I will be dressing up as the mad hatter because that’s my favorite character while I already have an Alice onesie in mind for Scarlett.
