Summer Mom Uniform & a Linkup

SUMMER MOM UNIFORM

I think I call every outfit my mom uniform, but this is my summer mom uniform.  It’s perfect for this Florida heat.  I’ve been living in biker shorts.  This is not just because they look cute with oversized tees, but because they’re comfy.  I need to be comfy while going out and about with bebe.  We’ve been going out more, so wearing comfy clothes has been key.  Not to give too much information, but because my thighs are a bit bigger, I do have to deal with chaffing.  Which means, that wearing dresses when it’s really hot out is just uncomfortable for me.  I actually have a really awkward tan line from my biker shorts, because I also have biker shorts that I wear for our walks every day.  However, I do think this is the perfect summer mom uniform!

INSTAGRAM REELS

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I’ve been creating a ton of reels lately.  It started off with me creating them since my reels are monetized, but then I actually got really into it.  I don’t make that much from reels, but that’s ok because I’ve been able to be creative with them.  Plus, I love some of the trends that come out on Instagram reels.  I’ve been uploading a lot of our home before and afters on reels as well.  There’s something about seeing before and afters that really makes me happy.  It makes me feel like this house is finally turning into a home.  In our rental I really didn’t make it a home because we only planned on being there for a year, which is funny because it turned into 3 years haha.  It was well worth the wait for the house we have now though.

9 MONTH CHECKUP

We went to Scarlett’s 9 month checkup yesterday and she’s doing so well!  She’s healthy and growing very fast.  Girlfriend is in the 95th percentile.  I’m not surprised because my side of the family is very tall.  I’m tall myself, but my dad is 6 foot something.  My husband’s side is on the shorter side, so she definitely takes after my side.  Although, she has her dad’s personality haha.  It’s so fascinating to see her little personality develop.  She’s definitely a handful, but I know once she starts walking it will be a completely different ball game!  Anyway, let’s move on to the linkup!
