Eddie Munson Halloween Look & a Linkup

EDDIE MUNSON HALLOWEEN LOOK

Where are all of my Eddie Munson fans at?!  If you’re new here, this isn’t my first time creating a Halloween’ish look that is Stranger Things related.  I think I’ve created these looks two or three years out of all of my years here on my blog.  This year, I wanted to pay homage to Eddie Munson’s character on Stranger Things.  Unfortunately, the wig I ordered came in, and it was a bit light for Eddie’s character.  However, I figured it would be ok.  Stranger Things Fans will know who I’m trying to imitate.  Anyway,  I know A LOT of people loved his character, and it’s a shame that he was killed in this past season.  Maybe he’ll come back in the next season or have a guest appearance.  That would be awesome.  Several months back, I actually wrote an entire post talking about the newest season of Stranger Things.

WHY DID SO MANY PEOPLE LIKE EDDIE MUNSON?

I can’t pinpoint the exact reason that people fell in love with Eddie Munson.  However, I think it’s because some of us empathized and related to his character.  He was considered the “freak” and was unapologetically himself.  Those of us (like myself), who weren’t the popular kid, or were made fun of can relate to him.  Then, because he was so different, he was the scapegoat for what was going on in Hawkins.  It turned into a witch hunt, based off of what he looked like, and the fact that he wasn’t the norm.  Or at least, according to society.
