I have featured my friend’s small business, Megan’s Pieces, a few times now.  I’m so proud of her for starting this business.  I met her through the Youtube world because she is also an ex Beachbody rep who spoke with me after she left.  She’s wanted to start a business for a while.  Megan and I were bump buddies as we liked to call it because our babies were due around the same time so we shared that bond.

MY DR. PHIL POST

I was going to try and get my Dr. Phil post up today, but unfortunately, life had other plans.  I’ll be sharing my experience next week, or if you want to head over to my youtube channel, there is a video posting at 1pm central today about it.  It was such a great experience and I can’t wait to better articulate my words in a post as opposed to a video.  I’m better at writing than speaking.  Which is odd, given that I’ve been creating videos consistently (minus last year) since 2019.  I guess I’m still not used to it, but I’ve been trying to get better at it.

If you haven’t watched the full episode, the woman before me who was in a cult is actually going to be on my channel on the 19th of this month so I’m so excited to have her tell her story, because we were very limited on time on the show.

I’M A SUCKER FOR SKINNY JEANS, BUT BELL BOTTOMS ARE THE BEES KNEES

If you read my millenial mom post a few weeks back, I did talk about my love for skinny jeans.  However, after looking at these photos, I must say, bell bottoms make my legs look so awesome.  Maybe it’s also because I’m wearing heels and something other than Birkenstocks or Converse.  I really love how I look, and maybe it’s because I’ve been Peloton’ing it up every night, but for once I actually like myself in a photo.  I’ve been having a really rough time lately with my appearance so it’s been challenging to say the least.

PELOTON UPDATE

I have been riding my Peloton every night since November 27th, and I must say, I’m loving it.  I do ride at night time once bebe goes to bed so sometimes it’s really hard to motivate myself.  Then I remind myself of how good and accomplished I feel afterwards.  I have been taking it slow and easy just to start off.  This is due to my one knee.

If you haven’t been here for a bit, I think I’ve mentioned it before, but I have a birth defect in my knee/leg that caused the one muscle connecting to the miniscus side of my knee to be almost non existent.  In addition, I have little to no cartilage left where my miniscus is, so it’s bone on bone.  It flares up when it’s cold or if I use it too much.  When we had our CBD shop, I was using CBD to help with the pain, but I haven’t found a CBD that I want to try since we closed.  I’m also a little weary on using it while I’m still breastfeeding.  Anyway, I’ve been loving my peloton so far so I’ll keep adding updates as the time progresses since it’s only been a little over a week.

DECORATING FOR CHRISTMAS

If you’ve been following me on Instagram, I’ve been posting some of my decorating here and there.  I’m almost done.  Unfortunately, I ran out of batteries, so hubs had to buy some and he should be bringing the rest of them home today because I have some things that take weird batteries, those little button looking ones.  Then the last thing to put up is bebe’s Christmas tree.  We haven’t decided where we want to put it yet, so stay tuned to my Instagram if you’re interested in all of the decorating!
