Linen for the summer and a Linkup!

I’m still catching up from vacation and can I please tell y’all
that this jet lag is really hitting me this year.  Last year was nowhere near this bad.  I didn’t really come prepared this year, so
this is the last post for this week. 
Next week I’ll start telling y’all all about my trip.  It’s going to be a two week long thing here
on the blog because since it was the fiance’s (omg I can’t say “the boyfriend”
anymore!) first time in Poland I wanted to make it memorable and I wanted him
to actually see Poland, not just my family. 
I’ve seen Poland and now I just go back to be with family, but I wanted
to him to see the beautiful country my family comes from.  I wanted him to see the history that is
preserved in Poland, and why I’m so proud to be Polish.  We were also part of a car race/show which we
won a trophy at! 
Anywhoo.
For today’s outfit I wanted to show a quick and easy way to
get dressed for these hot days.  I know
that for some people school is starting and summer is over, but the weather is
still here!  Plus, for me, someone who
isn’t in school anymore, I like to enjoy the heat as long as possible
haha!  I honestly thought this skirt was
going to be a bit longer so I could wear it to work, but unfortunately it is a
lot shorter than expected.  It also doesn’t
help that I’m tall and mostly leg so everything looks even shorter on me.  I usually live in tanks and skirts or shorts
throughout the summer.  Unless of course
I’m going to something a little fancier where I have to dress up, or if I know
that the AC is going to be on full blast because I get cold very easily.  I obviously live in open toe sandals/shoes in
the summer time and sometimes I’ll throw in some sneakers if I’m looking for
something a little more comfortable. 
These particular sandals have been the bomb dot com this summer.
