Labor Day Weekend

Normally I would be upset today because it’s Sunday and I have to wake up early tomorrow, BUT it’s a three day weekend and I get an extra day to sleep in!  So far this weekend has been very eventful.  My dad started his vacation yesterday and my brother’s home so we’ve had some family time this weekend.  Today was my favorite though because we went shopping and went out to Chili’s for dinner.  Well here is my lovely outfit of the day.

I’ve worn these shorts a million times already on this blog but I can’t help it.  They’re so comfortable and they breathe.  So when we went shopping in Macy’s the Ralph Lauren men’s section had this cute little car prop that I took a picture of it.

After we went shopping we went to Chili’s and right now they have donations for St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital where you color in a chili and then donate and 100% of proceeds go to St. Judes.  I like donating because every cent counts.  Here is my chili.
Once we got back home my brother actually looked up how to sew/stitch because he is attempting a DIY of taking an old shirt to patch up his pants that ripped.  I thought it was the most adorable thing ever!
I know I’ve said it but one of my favorite things about a three day weekend is being able to sleep in.  What’s more awesome than waking up to an adorable little pup.

    Love the deep purple shorts and the turquoise necklaces. Great-looking handbag. These are some of few peep-toe flats I actually like. I usually prefer platforms and/or high heels for peep-toe shoes rather than flats or kitten heels. This is still a great outfit.

      I wish I could've worn peep toe heels but with my knee injury it hurts after a while. Plus I did lots of shopping with the family so they're my go to flats. Thanks for the suggestion!
