Fashion Week Contest

So for today, I wanted to share the picture that I will be uploading on Lookbook for the fashion week contest.  I went shopping specifically for this post and my mom told me to go to the designer collection in Nordstrom and I said that I already had my dress picked out, BUT I went anyway because Mommy is always right.  Needless to say, she was right.  I saw this dress and thought oh my goodness this is beautiful; a work of art.

The contest is to talk about why it is your dream to go to NY Fashion Week.  I mean, what fashionista does NOT dream of going to Fashion Week???  If you go to my Lookbook you will be able to read why it is my dream.  As for now I just want to show you pictures that my friends did an amazing job on making me look the way I do.

I hope I win because I would absolutely love to go to Fashion Week.  My mom and I always talked about going to the one in France, but that’s a long time coming haha.
I just wanted to share that, thanks to a fellow blogger named Katie I decided to start running again.  My knee still hurts a little bit but not as bad as it used to.  Physical Therapy didn’t help that much because they told me I have a muscular syndrome.  Pretty much they taught me how to strengthen my knee and the muscles around it in my legs to help it, but I have damaged cartilage, muscular syndrome, and a deteriorating knee cap so I need to be careful, but I ran.  I only ran for 20 minutes but I ran and it was uphill at times too.  I’m very proud of myself!
Have any of you gone to fashion week?  Have any of you gone through Physical Therapy or had surgery?

    I usually don't like over-the-knee boots unless they are folded down. The boots here are very nice to compliment the dress. Besides that, momma knows best- that dress is gorgeous! Too many people I follow on LOOKBOOK all want in on the New York Fashion Week deal that I don't have one outright favorite! Good luck to you!

    umm good call with your mom- that dress is GORGEOUS! i especially love it with the over the knee boots, you have such a great shot for winning! i've never been to fashion week, but i can only imagine how glamorous it is 😀

      Oh my gosh, you are too sweet! I wasn't sure about the boots at first but as soon as I put them on I looked in the mirror and said BAM do I feel fierce haha. Thank you again and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed hehe.
