Today was an effortless day, and trying to beat the
heat. Survival of the fittest here in the hot summer months
approaching haha. It was 50’s inspired by this 50’s pinup/sock hop ‘ish
dress. Makes me want to sing “come on baby, let’s do the twist!”

I
decided to wear just a regular summer dress. Of course I wore a
cardigan over it to work because it’s inappropriate otherwise. Sorry
that I’ve been wearing the same flats but now that I have to wear flats
I’ve been trying to match. Although I might wear heels for the days
where I know I won’t be wearing them for long.

Funny
story about this dress though, it was my Halloween costume a few years
ago. I bought it off Ebay and it looked a little different in person
from the picture, it actually looked like I could possibly wear it
again! So ever since I’ve worn it a few times, I paired it with my red
Betsey Johnson belt, red Sam Edelman flats, and a white Ralph Lauren
cardigan. Let’s not forget my new obsession, my vintage Dooney &
Bourke bag. I promise I’ll wear another soon, I’m just obsessed with
it!
