Every day skin care routine with JERGENS® Natural Glow® Wet Skin® Moisturizer

Summer, the time when your body sees more light than it did in the winter time, well at least for me.  It’s time for shorts, skirts, and tank tops!  Oh, and of course bathing suits if you’re one to go swimming or lay outside.  I personally don’t go out in the sun too much because I’ve already seen some sun damage on my face because I was one of those people who used to go tanning in a tanning bed a lot.  I always wanted that sun kissed look like I just got back from vacation without having to actually go on vacation or lay outside for hours.  I also hated that whenever I did get a tan my skin was so dry.

Which brings me to today’s post!

I wanted to introduce JERGENS® Natural Glow® Wet Skin® Moisturizer Fair to Medium to all of my readers because I’ve been using it for a few days and love it already.  Now, when you first read the directions on the bottle it sounds a little odd, BUT it does work.  All that you do is take a shower like you normally would and then once the water is turned off you put it on your arms and legs (I do my whole body though) and you use the moisturizer sparingly on areas like your elbows, knees, and ankles.  Then once you’re done you pat yourself dry.  Don’t worry, the color won’t get on your towel!  For the most natural looking color make sure to exfoliate before using and using another moisturizer around the elbows, knees, and ankles to minimize color absorption.  I have a nice color going already and I’ve actually had someone ask me if I went to the beach because I have some color!  Just to let y’all know though, this is not to be used as a sunscreen!  Please make sure you still take proper care of your skin when going outside.  This is meant to be used to maintain or extend color from sun or other sunless tanners.  You can also use this every day.

The reason why I prefer using JERGENS® Natural Glow® Wet Skin® Moisturizer Fair to Medium is because now that I’m almost 30 I’ve seen a change in my skin.  Since I was purposely laying out in the sun or going to tanning beds in the past, I’ve noticed sun damage and fine lines.  I’m also afraid of melanoma which is something I didn’t really know much about when I was younger, but now that I know I try to take care of my skin as much as possible.  I also love that this is a moisturizer because my skin can get so dry sometimes, and I mean it’s summer time so you can see my legs whereas before I could just hide them.  The way that you are supposed to apply it, is also very unique.  I was a little confused at first but once I did it for a few days I like that I had a nice summer glow and it looked so natural.  It’s a gradual and natural color change without the hassle of sunless tanners.  Did you know that JERGENS® was the first to introduce the category of gradual sunless tanners in 2005 with Natural Glow Daily?  I actually used this when it first came out and loved it!  I’m so happy I was introduced to this product because I will continue to include it in my everyday routine since it’s so easy and convenient to use.

Also, if you’re looking for where to find this awesome product below is the picture of where to find it!
