We all know that this blogger loves themes. Last week was a fitness theme and this week
is my St. Patrick’s Day theme! So, that
basically means you’ll be seeing lots of green this week. Enjoy!

If you follow my Facebook page for this blog you already
know that I went on a shopping spree with my mom a few weeks ago. Her and I have this tradition of going
shopping to Banana Republic and then hanging out at my apartment. Is it weird that even after a year of living
out of my parent’s house (for the second time) I still get excited when I say
my apartment? Well I mean technically it’s
also half the boyfriend’s, but you know what I mean. Ok, back to my original conversation about
BR. I noticed it’s every 3 months we
shop so I’m going to call it our Quarterly Banana Trip! I always used to think that Banana Republic
is so expensive, but if you know how to shop it’s really not. They always have some kind of extra
percentages off, on top of some of their clearance items dropping to an awesome
price, and if you are a Banana Republic card member you get rewards. This last shopping trip I had $55 in rewards
that I cashed in. You can only imagine
how excited I was when I saw my total drop that much. I always love a good bargain. I don’t know what it is but I almost get a
thrill when I shop for things and then discounts and rewards. Does anyone else have that? I love being able to know that the dress that
was originally $150 I got for $40 (or less).

From that shopping spree I got this embellished jacket ( I
have to get a better picture of the embellished flowers), a pant suit, two
skirts, pair of Sloan pants (those are legit my favorite pants), and the flats
worn in this picture. Sooner or later
half of my wardrobe will be Banana Republic.

They have the perfect casual wear and work attire. It’s a great mix of both. I also like having pieces that I can switch
from work to regular life. I feel as
though sometimes my fashion takes a toll on the weekends. Since I dress up all week for work, on the
weekends I always want to be comfortable.
I know, I’m a poor example for a (part) fashion blogger. This would be the perfect weekend
outfit. Black stretchy pants (no, these
are not leggings), a nice casual jacket, and flats. This 5 foot 9 girl loves her flats. As a tall girl I’m so happy that flats are
still a trend because I love being able to look fashionable yet not be towering
over everyone.

This jacket is so so cute! The embellishments are adorable and make it just not a regular utility jacket. It's a fun little detail! I LOVE finding deals and seeing how cheap I can get something! And I totally agree about where you shop. I used to stay away from places because it was expensive, but there are usually so many sales and coupons that things are actually well priced! You look beautiful!
