Top and Pants: TJ Maxx
Hello lovely readers.
Welcome to my week of anything health and fitness related! Ever since September I’ve had this Saturday
series called Shape Up Saturday. This is
basically one day out of the week that I talk about anything health and fitness
related. Anything from my thoughts on
how to stay motivated, at home workouts, and recipes. Since we are so close to the warmer months, I
mean it’s not even winter anymore as of the 20th of this month, I
wanted to show you what I go over on Saturday’s so you don’t miss out!

As some of you know I started my health and fitness journey
in June of last year. I have since lost
41 lbs, 10 inches in my waist, gained 8 lbs in muscle, and that’s just the
physical change. I became a coach to
help motivate others who are struggling the same way I was. I have confidence, I challenge myself more,
and my overall outlook is filled with positivity. My health had deteriorated and when the
doctor couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me I got even more upset. Then I saw a post on Facebook by one of my
friends who later became my coach. She
was letting everyone know about her challenge group with the 21 day fix, and
being upset with how I looked and felt I took a leap of faith.

That leap of faith brought me to where I am today. My health was back to normal. Apparently what I had been feeling was my
body telling me to change my diet and add some exercise to my day.

Never in my life did I think I would be a meal prepping,
health and workout freak lol. I used to
ALWAYS make fun of those people. It’s so
hard for a lot of people to do it on their own because they don’t have guidance
and they don’t even know where to start.
This isn’t for everyone, but trust me the people who have been in my
groups needed that extra push of whether it be motivation, or just guidance on
where to start. If you follow me on
Instagram (@jerseygirltexanheart) I post a lot of health and fitness related
things. From before and afters, to food,
to even what I look like standing up to sitting down. I have rolls too, it’s called reality lol.

Girl you rock! What an amazing accomplishment! It's amazing what eating healthy and excersizing can do for your body. I am so happy for you! I love those leggings and the bright colors! I was born in the 80s and it was a fun crazy time for fashion!
