Well folks, today concludes my $10 Challenge Series. Next week I’ll recap all of the posts into one, but I am so proud of myself for doing this challenge. As I’ve said on almost all of my previous $10 Challenge Posts, it’s a challenge just getting me into the store, let alone sifting through everything and trying to get the most for $10. This is why I shop online nowadays, because it saves me so much time.
I really enjoyed this challenge series because it was nice to be able to actually stay within the $10 budget for all 4 weeks. For today’s post I’m challenging myself at Target! Y’all know that Target has become quite the obsession for me lately and I’ve been in love with everything there. I went there one day after work, and to be honest I was really stressed out from work and it probably wasn’t the best day for me to go to Target because of how bad the clearance section looked (it drove me nuts, I wanted to clean everything), but alas, I made it through! I ended up being too overwhelmed in the clothing section so I had to move on to accessories. I was able to find this clutch/evening bag and these earrings for under $10! I saved 5% because I used my Target card. My total came to $9.38. Target for the win!
Speaking of how bad the clearance section looked, after working in retail for so many years, I felt bad for the Target associates who had to clean that clearance section up. While I was shopping I actually saw people just taking stuff off the hangers and not putting them back, which is normal, but Target was on a different level. I know that retail associates get paid to clean up after your mess, but is it really that hard to put it back on the hanger? Especially if you are alone, with no kids, and nothing in your hands. When I worked in retail, no matter how many times I would clean the clearance section, it would be a mess as soon as I was done. Don’t even get me started on tables that had folded clothing haha. Which is why I make it a point to put everything back where I found it when I’m shopping.
Have y’all gotten any good deals lately? If so, from where?
