Alright y’all, it is Wedding Season! It’s in full swing and I have so many weddings lined up. No, mine is not one of them. We haven’t even set a date yet haha. We will eventually get there, I promise. Anyway, I wanted to dedicate an entire post to what to wear to a spring/summer wedding because it’s always super hard to find something. I’ve wondered in the past if it’s ok to wear black, but I’m starting to see more black being worn. It’s honestly just such a flattering “color” on everyone. Below are a bunch of perfect wedding looks for each personality and each type of wedding because some are less formal than others.
PANTS
So, I really love pant suits, well at least the way they look. The actual functionality behind them is really minimal, because having to go to the bathroom means you will have to sit there half naked haha. I have been obsessed with culottes for the past year, ever since I got these from the Victoria Beckham for Target collection. The great thing about culottes is they are so wide that sometimes they look like a skirt anyway, so you get the pleasure of wearing pants, but it doesn’t really look like pants. I would probably go for a more formal top than the one with the orange culottes, but if it’s a super casual/beach wedding this would definitely work.
SIMPLE
Sometimes going super simple is the best bet. It’s easier to pick something out that has no print, no crazy cut outs, and just go with it. Out of the above looks I think the second one and last one are my favorite out of the simple category. I know that a lot of people had a lot to say about the royal wedding and how Meghan’s dress wasn’t that great. To be completely honest, I applaud her. She went for something simple that fit her perfectly. Her hair and makeup was simple, and it showed that even with all the money that was spent on that wedding, she still wanted to wear something simple. I see NOTHING wrong with what she chose for her wedding day. Every single bride is different. What you like, may not be what someone else likes. Also, each bride has to feel like she looks her absolute best on her day. I know this was a little rant, but sometimes simple is just way more comfortable for a person.
SPARKLE
I don’t know about the rest of you, BUT this girl right here loves a bit of sparkle here and there. I don’t know what it is but it’s super glam, and I feel like you can add sparkle to just about anything and it’ll instantly look dressed up. This skirt is perfect because it’s super comfy, it’s super cute, and it sparkles. You can either go full glam, or you can wear it more of a simple look like seen here.
FLORAL
If you couldn’t tell from all of the above photos, I’m super obsessed with floral prints of all kinds. The one of me wearing converse was actually something I wore to a recent wedding that we went to. It was more of a relaxed style wedding (it’s moreso the crowd than the venue and stuff like that) so I decided I wanted to be comfortable so I paired my metallic converse with this floral dress. I feel as though florals are perfect for spring/summer weddings, just because floral prints are worn mostly in those seasons as well.
PRINTS
All of the above are all different types of prints and worn differently. From super girly, to casual, to punk rockish. These would be worn for all different types of weddings, but the best part is you can wear all of these a different way and it can be meant for a totally different type of wedding.

I have a LBD and have started wearing that to weddings. I think adding some fun accessories to it makes it totally wedding appropriate!

I would love to wear a jumpsuit—or, even better, a tuxedo—to a wedding! So many cute ideas here, but I think the maxi with the embroidered flowers is my favorite!
