Who Wore It Better, An Announcement, and a Linkup

It has been quite some time since my last Who Wore it Better post with my mom.  For my birthday my mom bought me these pants and this top (I seriously love Karl Lagerfeld!), and she bought herself the same pair of pants.  Now, this is a huge deal for my mom, because she hates pants with pockets like these.  She told herself she would never wear these types of pants, but how can you resist that sparkle on them?!  I on the other hand, love love love these pants and was immediately drawn to them when I opened up the bag.  I have this thing for this shade of green, and of course sparkle.  I’m one of those girls who loves sparkle.

We took these pictures a few weeks ago when the fiancé had gone up to New Hampshire, which is why his car is in the background and not mine haha.  He LOVES his Transam.  I think she’s pretty cool.  Her name is Christine, like the car from the old black and white movie that was a killer car named Christine.  It’s funny, I grew up with a Pontiac fanatic (my dad) and will be marrying one.

Now, this announcement I’m making today does not have to do with what I was talking about in last week’s Wednesday Linkup post.  This was kind of a spur of the moment thing.  MY MOM HAS STARTED A BLOG!  Today is her first post!  She decided to also do the Who Wore it Better post with me.  She’s co-hosting this linkup with me.  I basically talked my mom into it.  Her blog name is 60 Plus Experience.  Make sure to go check her out and follow her on social media!

    Seriously love the almost matching looks! I guess you can say I am biased as I love dressing up together with my son but honestly, you and your mom look so chic and pretty. I adore the sparkle on the green pants and you are right about the color – it is AH-mazing. No need to pull my leg though, the pockets already won me over.
