Flannel: Amazon // Skirt: Shein (sold out, similar here) // Shoes: Old Navy
It’s time for another blogger collab today! Today we are sharing some Christmas outfits, and as much as I love dressing up for holidays, I also love being comfortable. I felt like this was a great chic vs comfort type of an outfit. Now, I’ve been wearing pencil skirts since I was in a stroller (it’s the reason why my mom was asked if I was a baby model), so I’m no stranger to them. I figured a great way to make this super dressed up look also cozy looking was to add a flannel top to it. I’m a huge fan of buffalo plaid (as seen in this post last week). I feel like it is seriously perfect for this season and to just be cozy in general.
Do y’all have any fun plans coming up for Christmas for those who celebrate? Since my fiance is away, this holiday season has been a little sad this year, and I didn’t really decorate. My days have been spent hanging out with the puppies and watching The Office haha. My fiance asked what I would do once I finished watching again, and my response was to watch it yet again. I love The Office. I think it’s because I secretly wish I could work in an office like that. It’s so inappropriate, but so fun at the same time. I also think every office needs a Dwight. He’s just so eclectic and completely out there. I would find it very entertaining in real life. I’m really excited for this weekend though because my mom and I are going to Koziar’s Christmas Village in PA with a family friend and her daughter. My mom loves Christmas and when I saw a video on Facebook, I just had to take her, and we have friends tagging along as well. Ok, let’s move on to the blogger collab.

MAUREEN Little Miss Casual “I don’t know about you, but my family get togethers are very casual. Even during the holidays, we like to keep things low key and most of our time is spent indoors. So, when it comes to dressing for the holidays, there’s only one thing that comes to mind – a good Christmas sweater or better known as an ugly sweater. Personally, I am a sucker for an ugly sweater and believe everyone should own at least one in their wardrobe.”
CHRISSY Granola and Grace “Christmas will be In Florida for is this year so the temps may be in the 50’s, but the temps may be high 70’s so there’s no preplanning on the outfit for me. However, I’m looking forward to making new memories with our little family!”
ADA Elegance and Mommyhood “Nothing says Christmas to me more than Plaid. So this year, Vivian and I will be wearing matching plaid tunics (from Old Navy) for our Christmas celebration. We even dressed up our button-downs with pretty necklaces. But truly I cannot wait to see her face on Christmas morning as she opens presents – she is so excited! From our Christmas tree with love “Gëzuar Krishtlindjet!” That means “Merry Christmas” in Albanian – my native language.”

Monica, this is freaking fantastic styling! I absolutely love the contrast of the chic pencil skirt under the oversized flannel. Brilliant! I just went to check out this top but it is not available in my size in any of the colors! Boo. I love the length of it and it really does look so cozy. Happy holidays to you, my friend!

Ugh, I’m so sorry girl. I actually got it for my cousin last year because she wanted it really bad after she saw it on my blog haha. and thank you! I wanted to see if I could style it differently, and this is what I came up with 🙂

Nothing says holiday more than buffalo plaid. You look great in your Christmas suit! That pencil skirt was totally made for you and you are rocking this Christmas Day outfit! There are days I wish I dressed up more. We spend Christmas as if it’s another day and I feel bad saying that because we have a little one. So this year I promised him that we will make cookies for Santa Clause. I also found a hand print kit to make as an ornament that he can paint so I know he’ll love it. I hope you had a good weekend and happy Monday Monica.

Usually Christmas Eve is a big thing for my family. As a kid I always used to be really excited because I didn’t have to wait until Christmas Day to open presents haha! Now that I’m older, I’m more excited to give gifts than receive them.

I like how you paired your plaid flannel top with a vinyl skirt and stylish necklace. It’s always fun to see bloggers mix casual elements with more dressy accessories.
I’m sorry to hear your fiance is away from home. I hope you will be reunited soon. I’m away from family and friends too this holiday season, so I understand how you feel.
