Your Own Twist Linkup: Vacation/Staycation Wear

It’s time for the monthly Your Own Twist linkup.  I have been dying to share these pictures because I loooovvve this VW Beetle.  I was super excited to do this outfit photo because I was feeling pretty good that day about my body haha.  This was the day that I tried fried peanuts for the first time.  They were interesting, but I expected more.  They are all the rage according to a bunch of people in this area, but I honestly was not super impressed.  Don’t get me wrong, they were good, and I’d definitely get them again, but they aren’t to die for in my opinion.

I love our theme this week, because I feel as though I’m living a permanent vacation here in Florida.  It’s crazy how just a little bit of warm weather and seeing the beach every day can do that to a person.  I’m definitely calmer down here.  The dogs love having their own yard, and my fiance and I don’t feel like we are struggling just to get through each day.  Back in NJ it’s so hard to make it.  I feel like you work every day of your life and can’t get ahead.  Here, it’s completely different.  Even with the shitty job that I talked about in yesterday’s post, I still feel like we are doing really well in Florida.

I’m also doing really well with all of my freelance projects, and it’s making me feel like I actually accomplished something.  My photography business is doing great, I already did a shoot with an Influencer in the area, and I have another big one in the works come fall time.

Because I feel like I’m living a permanent vacation, I feel like this is more of a staycation outfit haha.  I won’t be going on vacation this year, but I can’t wait until my parents come visit me on their vacation.  I can’t wait to show my parents our house and this beautiful area.  I think my dad will probably go swimming most days and I’ll take my mom shopping haha!  Are any of you going on a vacation this year?
