SUNFLOWER DRESS FOR THE WIN
When I first saw this sunflower dress on Amazon, I knew I had to have it. I wasn’t planning on buying anything that day, because I have bought quite a few things recently for myself. However, I decided that I could always use another maternity dress. The interesting thing is this dress doesn’t fit like your normal maternity clothing. If you’ve ever seen maternity clothing, you know they usually sew it so that there is more give in the belly area. Well, this sunflower dress will be perfect for even after the baby is born and once I drop all of this baby weight because it doesn’t have that extra fabric in the tummy area.

BABY HAS BEEN MOVING A LOT
Over the past week or so, the baby has been moving a lot. It’s so weird feeling those flutters getting stronger and stronger, and feeling less like flutters and more like actual movement. While I was walking through the office last week, the baby actually moved positions and it felt super awkward so I had to adjust the way I was walking haha. It was so uncomfortable, but I guess bebe just needed to change positions, I mean I do that all the time while I’m trying to sleep, so touche baby, touche.

THANK YOU
I wanted to say thank you to everyone who left their well wishes on last week’s post about the pregnancy announcement. I was very nervous to post and announce, but also nervous to talk about pregnancy openly and candidly. However, that’s just how I am, and I knew I needed to talk about it in last week’s post. I was afraid of sounding like I was complaining too much, especially because there are women out there who would do anything to be in my position right now. Pregnancy is beautiful and terrifying all at the same time. You don’t tend to hear much about the terrifying part of it.
There are those who will tell you what will happen to your body (as I already mentioned in last week’s post), but not that it’s scary. Someone did reach out to me and tell me that unfortunately, that terrifying feeling only gets worse once the baby is here. Now, that I believe 100000% because my mom is always checking in on me. When I was diagnosed with epilepsy my parents were really emotional and it was a hard time for all of us as a family. I’m pretty sure our child will make my hair turn gray within the next year haha.
FUN NEW PIECES
I bought a few little things from Target which you’ll see sprinkled in on my Instagram and this blog. Some of those pieces were these 3 pairs of earrings. The fish earrings were needed because they reminded me of my grandpa. He was supposed to teach me how to fish before he passed, but unfortunately we never got to do that. When I went to Poland last, I brought my grandpa a 3D printed fish that looked kind of like these earrings but of course a bigger piece of a solid color. We don’t know what happened with that once part of my family cleaned out the apartment. Anyway, the other two pairs of earrings were just because I’ve been loving bigger statement earrings.

Aw, Monica, I love that you are really feeling baby move around a bit even if it can get uncomfortable at times. Okay, so when I was pregnant with my second child, he would push his feet so hard against me that you could see the little footprint on my belly and it totally freaked me out and I started calling him creepy baby! Haha. In hindsight, it was pretty cool but looking at the footprint coming our of my skin reminded me of some horror movie or something! Haha. I love this sunflower dress. What a fun print! You look so beautiful, my friend!

Hahahaha, I call the baby an alien baby all the time because it’s just so weird to feel the movements. I’ve started seeing the movements on the outside now when the baby kicks hard enough. It happened yesterday when I just so happened to be looking down and saw the little bump move lol. I told my husband about when babies get big enough you can start seeing things poking out of the belly and he looked terrified haha.
