Ok, so continuing my Breast Cancer Awareness series, today’s
look is more of a subtle pink in the scarf.
That skirt is actually supposed to be a slip but since it was thick
enough I decided to wear it as a regular skirt.
I’ve been seeing oversized sweaters be worn with really feminine pieces
and I decided to jump on the bandwagon!
To be completely honest I didn’t think this outfit was going to look
good, but after seeing these pictures I think it’s perfect!

It’s the right amount of casual meets dressed up, and even
though it’s a comfortable look, it’s still feminine. The boyfriend wasn’t a huge fan of it because
he thinks this outfit is very “ready for Sunday mass,” looking. I mean, it would be appropriate because
everything is covered, but I think the top would be too casual for church, just
my opinion though.

If you saw my post yesterday I already started my Breast
Cancer Awareness theme. What I’ve
decided to also do is every day this week I’m going to be adding a breast
cancer fact at the end of my post. I’m
usually surprised at the statistics each year, but I figured this was a great
way to spread awareness.

Breast Cancer Fact of the Day:
About 85% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer. These occur due to genetic mutations that happen as a result of the aging process and life in general, rather than inherited mutations.

This looks so comfortable and cute! I love oversize sweaters and I love how you still look feminine with the skirt!

Your scarf is so pretty and thanks for sharing the breast cancer facts. Because the more we know, the better we can take care of ourselves.
