NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® and a Recipe

We all know I have a huge love for coffee.  My mom told me a funny story which I’ve shared here on the blog multiple times before but I’ll share it again for those who just hopped onto my blog for the first time.  When I was really little and just started learning how to drink from a big girl cup my mom would leave her coffee mug on the table and come back to see her mug was empty.  We had a German Shepherd at the time so she didn’t think anything of it until it happened multiple times.  Then, one day I was caught red handed.  Here I was a little 2 year old (I think) who liked the taste of coffee.
Now fast forward to high school.  That’s when my love for coffee really started.  It’s not even a caffeine thing to keep me awake, it’s moreso I just like coffee, just like some people like tea.  That’s why when NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® presented me with this opportunity to work with them it was an offer I could NOT pass up!  Before I get into the coffee challenge and a recipe, I wanted to introduce NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® to y’all.  I am going to bold everything so that if you don’t want to read through some things it’s divided into sections.

I don’t let my taste buds settle for anything less than delicious well crafted coffee, so not only do I enjoy my NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® at home, but I also enjoy it on the go!

NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® BACKGROUND

“At NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® we believe you get out what you choose to put in.  The outcome of each day and the direction of our lives is the result of the choices we make, the attitude we take, and the effort we give.  We believe in doing and being more.  We approach our coffee with the same belief.  That’s why everything we do, we do with purpose and care.  With every delicious cup of NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice®, you know you’re getting well-crafted coffee made simple.”
NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® pays careful attention to ensure that cup of coffee you have every morning is absolutely delicious.  They find the best sourced beans from the finest coffee growing regions along with carefully roasting and monitoring those very same beans, then they are brewed with careful attention to exact temperatures and pressures for the best flavors from the beans.  After that they flash freeze to lock in the flavor and aroma from perfectly brewed coffee.  Last but definitely not least is all about you, this is when you create your perfect cup just by adding hot water.
One of the best things about instant coffee is it’s so easy.  You don’t have to worry about if it’s too strong or too weak going through your coffee maker because if it’s too strong you just add more water or too weak you just add more coffee.  The best part is about NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice®, you don’t lose any flavor with it being instant.  If you purchase a glass jar you add one heaping teaspoon for a medium cup which, add 8 fl oz of hot water (not boiling), stir and enjoy!  When using the packets instead of adding 1 teaspoon you just pour the contents of the packet into the cup.
FROZEN MOCHACCINO RECIPE

Ok, so I found a recipe online and made it my own because since starting this whole healthy lifestyle I have to find substitutes.  I usually drink my coffee black but I wanted to share this delicious recipe with you that is still healthy.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup coffee-I used two packets of the NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® packets because I wanted it a little stronger since I’d be adding milk and other things to it
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened natural cocoa powder
  • Cinnamon to Sprinkle
  • 2 tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Ice cubes
  1. Take your coffee, ice cubes, milk, cocoa, maple syrup, and vanilla in a blender.
  2. Divide it between two glasses for you and a friend/spouse/family member/for later.  Add Cocoa Powder/Cinnamon/both to the top, just sprinkle it on there.
  3. Voila, an easy Mochaccino!

COFFEE CHALLENGE

NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® gave us bloggers two challenges.
Challenge #1
The first one was to replace our current coffee preference with NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® for one week. Well I must say it was really convenient and tasted good too. Its so convenient to bring the NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® jar or packets to work and just add hot water, as opposed to making a pot of coffee that isn’t even that good because the coffee is way too weak for me. With the NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® packets or glass jars I can make my coffee the way I want it, and when I want it.
Challenge #2
The second challenge is all about how NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® believes the choices we make matter so they wanted to hear from us. What passion drives you and your craft as well as 5 tips/tricks that help you to get the more out of each day.
My passion is really anything that makes me happy. I don’t really have one specific passion because I love fashion, creating things, my family, my fur children, fitness, cars, the list goes on. I don’t have one particular on. However, I do have 5 tips/tricks that help me get the most out of each day.

Today’s a New Day
Leave the past behind you! Today is a new day. Certain things are hard to get over, but you woke up this one more day for a reason. Don’t hold onto things because who knows you may not be here tomorrow so live everyday as best as you possibly can.
Positive Vibes Only
Get rid of any negativity in your life. A few years ago a lot of bad things happened in my life. Instead of dwelling on it and dealing with these negative people I decided to cut all ties. I couldn’t handle all of their negativity when I was trying to better myself. I had just graduated with my MBA and was looking for work. I needed to have my head on straight, not dealing with negative vibes. Sometimes it’s ok to be selfish and take care of yourself.
Work Hard
I have a particular work ethic. It’s to work as hard as I can. It’s to do the best job every single time. I have a sense of accomplishment when I do a job and do it well.
Love Harder
What I really agree with is to love as hard as you can. I make sure my loved ones know that they are loved. Yes, we disagree and argue sometimes but they are well aware that I love them more than anyone else hehe.
Reflect
Reflect on your day, or your life. I like to take little moments and think about how far I’ve come and how proud I am. I like to think about how much I’ve grown as a person as I’ve grown into the woman I am rather than the child I was. Don’t get me wrong I still act like a kid and will stay a kid at heart but I’ve struggled and gotten through it. I have good and bad memories, but even the bad memories are good because they’ve shaped me into who I am.
