starting. Some moms might even be sad
that their kids are going back to school, others are SUPER happy that they can
finally have a little “me” time.
Regardless, it’s back to school time.
Yes, I know, it’s only the first week of August but trust me that first
day of school or college will come up quick!
This outfit would be perfect for back to school because it’s comfortable
and can be worn with different pieces.
You can dress this particular outfit up or down, or separate the pieces
to create completely different looks. So
that brings me to the topic of today’s post; what clothes to bring to college.
- Comfortable clothes and shoes-you’ll need these to get to
and from class especially if you live on a huge campus. - 1-2 professional outfits and shoes for anything formal. Examples include Interviews, Presentations,
Formals, or Internships. - Gym clothes and shoes.
- Bathing Suit
- Light Spring’ish Jacket
- Heavy Coat, hat, scarf, gloves if you’re going to a colder
area. If you are coming to the North
East DEFINITELY bring some clothes to keep you warm. - Rainwear so rain boots, rain jacket, umbrella, etc.
- Slippers. I’d take
two pairs, one heavy pair for colder days and one light for days that are a
little warmer.
iron, blow dryer, beauty products, and bathroom products with a caddy. I know this isn’t clothes related but it’s
female related. We all need our beauty
and hair products ready to go. If you
can even get your parents to help fund some of these college necessities even
better because I can easily spend $50 at Walmart on shampoo, conditioner, face
wash, and some makeup. While you’re in
college you might not have enough time to have a part time job, or you may not
be able to find one right away because think about it, all of these college
kids coming to one school, there’s going to be an influx all over in the surrounding
areas of the campus.
