The boyfriend and I trying to catch them all haha!
Pokemon Go
I’m sure a lot of you are sick of hearing about Pokemon Go
because it’s seriously everywhere. I
just wanted to share a few thoughts and maybe explain the game to those of you
who have no idea what I’m talking about.
The infamous Pokemon I would call it a brand by now because they have
everything, but they started out with the playing cards and gameboy games that
my little brother used to play along with some of the kids my age back in the
day. Fast forward to 2016, there is a
game/app where you can actually catch Pokemon in real life. No there aren’t real Pokemon scattered everywhere,
they are scattered everywhere through your phone using GPS and you use your
camera (unless you turn AR off which I highly recommend if you have terrible
aim when the screen is moving haha) to see the Pokemon creatures in front of
you. The whole idea of this game was to
get kids OUTSIDE again. I don’t think I’ve
seen this many people outside since my generation of kids grew up. Adults who were kids playing with the Pokemon
cards at one point are also playing. A
lot of infamous internet memes have been started and some of them are really
funny. I personally play the game while
I’m walking because it brings more excitement to my walk, or my friends and I
will play here and there. Now, mind you,
I’m in my late 20’s. I don’t mind if
people make fun of the game and think it’s stupid because you’re entitled to
your own opinion, but once you start insulting and making extremely unnecessary
and rude comments about the person playing that game, that’s when you’ve gone a
little too far. There was a veteran who
wrote to Nintendo stating that he has PTSD and thanks to this game he was able
to interact with strangers again and feel like a normal human being because his
son got him into the game. There are
good and bad things about this game, but people just let the Pokemasters have
their fun, they just gotta catch em all.

Round 2 of 21 Day Fix
I start Round 2 of the 21 Day Fix on Monday! I’m pumped (insert gains emoji here). If you don’t know what the 21 Day Fix is, it’s
a program which teaches you the proper way to eat, what your intake should be,
and what your work outs should be. I’ve
learned how to cook a little bit thanks to this program. The 21 days is to get you started and you
cannot have cheat days. Once you’re done
the woman who started 21 Day Fix, Autumn, states that her motto is as long as
she’s eating clean 90% of the time you can cheat that extra 10%. My cheats aren’t even cheats anymore because
I’ve gotten so used to this program.
This isn’t a diet, it’s a complete lifestyle change. So far I’ve lost 13 lbs, and inches all
throughout my body. I’ve had multiple
people tell me how much weight I’ve lost, some of which are coworkers that I
don’t even think they know my name haha.
The great part is, I’m only halfway to my goal. I think once I start losing a little more I’m
going to start a health and fitness series just like I had two years ago. I can teach you little things here and there
that I learned throughout this process and maybe even give you some tastey
recipes!

Slacking on YouTube
I want to greatly apologize about my YouTube slacking. I have not uploaded a video and the worst
part is I have all of these ideas for videos but either haven’t edited them or
haven’t even filmed them. I’ll try to
get some more things together this weekend, but I can’t make any promises. This healthy eating thing has consumed most of
my life haha!

Kuba’s Birthday
My baby boy’s 11th birthday was yesterday. Alright, he’s not a boy, he’s a dog, but he’s
a baby in my eyes. I got him when I was
18 for my birthday and he ended up becoming the family dog because since I was
always working or at school (even though I commuted to college, I was still
always there) so he ended up getting really close with my mom. I can’t believe he’s 11. I remember when we first got him and he was
small enough to fit in my hand. I want
to wish him an extremely happy birthday with more years to come!

41 More Days until Poland
Y’all, I have 41 more days left until I leave for
Poland. I’m super excited because this
year I’m going with my mom. A lovely
girls trip back to the motherland. Unfortunately
I won’t be there for 2 weeks like every other time but I’ll be out of the
country for 10 days. I’ll try to stay a
little active on social media, especially Instagram but I can’t make any
promises. I will also have posts
prepared for while I’m gone.

I definitely jumped on the Pokemon Go wagon but ran out of Pokeballs and have yet to go to a Pokestop. Well I actually went to two on my way home b/c they just so happened to be on the way but they said "empty module post'- whatever that means. So I still don't have any Pokeballs. For some reason Pokemon seem to be attracted to Tigger lol. Poor guy had a Pidgie on him the other day and I had no Pokeballs to catch it.
Happy Birthday Kuba!

Happy birthday to your fur baby! My 22 yoa daughter and 18 yoa son play Pokemon Go. I haven't jumped on the bandwagon but I'm not against it either. There are some cons involved but I've seen mostly positive impact from the game.

At first I told myself that I wouldn't play Pokemon Go because I was an adult… but then my kids started playing it and I found myself asking them questions and watching them play. Next thing you know I have the app downloaded and we are going on a family walk! When Pokemon first came out I was at the age where it was super cool. I had (and still have) hundreds of original Pokemon cards, not to mention I played all of the Gameboy Color Pokemon games! It is a lot of fun and brings me back to my childhood 🙂
