Lately I’ve noticed that my style is constantly
changing. Could it be that I’m trying to
hold on to my youth? I feel like once I
reach 30 I will have to start acting and looking like a grown up. But what if I don’t want to grow up? I’m not ready to be a full blown adult yet. I’ve been test driving this whole adulting
thing for the past few years and I really don’t like it.

I feel like today’s outfit is a little bit of
everything. Young and older, pink and
black, girly and tomboy. It’s almost
like when I put on this outfit I was extremely confused with where I was at in
life at that exact moment, but somehow it all kind of worked.

I’ve been wearing a lot of boho type looks, loose fitting
clothing, aka clothing to cover my excess skin that I’ve acquired over the past
year or so. Never fear, it’s all
contained underneath the clothing so until I lose some weight I’ll probably continue
to rock the boho style. Although I will
say, I have lost a few pounds and have been getting healthier.

I love this combination of the girly skirt and t-shirt. I think you look adorable and not at all confused! And, yes, adulating is rough…and it doesn't get any easier…you just get more used to it over the years!

I normally don't like tulle skirts, but the way you styled it, I love it! You brought a great mix so it doesn't look too girly or young. You look fabulous!

I have always wanted a tulle skirt, but usually around the holiday season. Love the way you are wearing your skirt with that graphic tee – such a cute look!

Cute look! I really like the mix of looks in this outfit. That tee is adorable. I can completely relate to the "in-between age" dressing. Too old for certain looks while still wanting to be young and trendy.
Glad we found your link up!
We host a link up everyTuesday!

I've struggled with the same issue of feeling like I don't know that I'm quite ready to be dressing like an adult! I'm a little bit everywhere, sometimes I'm super adult-looking, sometimes I could be a teenager. I don't like this unsaid rule that you must dress a certain way at a certain age; I have no plans to conform!

Age is but a mindset, my friend, and I feel we live longer, keep looking younger, for as long as we stop acting our age 🙂 here I am, more than a decade older than you, and I walk around with leather and spikes and everything in between. Utterly unapologetic. And there you are, looking really gorgeous in that palest of pink tulle skirt. LOVE xoxo
