Brown Hair
Well, in case you don’t follow me on Instagram or my Facebook page you are seeing my brand new hair color for the first time. If you haven’t noticed on my blog I’ve been going through some things and if you ever saw the movie Sex and the City, one of the first things that Carrie Bradshaw did when she came to her senses was color her hair. Whenever something is happening in my life I usually have to change something and well, since my blonde hair has been kind of bothering me lately I decided to take the plunge. I guess it’s because it’s something I actually have control over and something that I can do at any point in time. With that being said I have a lot of outfit photos still with my blonde hair that will be going up, I believe I have about a month’s worth so bear with me while my posts either flip flop between brown and blonde, or if I just started posting brown hair next month. This hair color is probably the closest to my natural hair color so I feel like going back to my roots (no pun intended) makes me feel so much better. I feel more comfortable and to be honest, I can actually look in the mirror and smile at myself and what I look like. Don’t get me wrong I LOVED the blonde, but the past few months I’ve been wanting to change my color and I wanted a drastic change. So, brunette was the perfect answer!
Brother’s Birthday
Today is my baby brother’s birthday! He turns a whole 22 years old today. I remember when I was 22, I wasn’t nearly as
independent as my brother is. I learned
how to be like that a little later in life.
Anyway, happy birthday baby brother! And yes, just because it’s his birthday, that definitely calls for embarrassing pictures from our child hood when he was absolutely the most adorable thing ever.

Necklace: Uncommon Goods
Uncommon Goods
Last week I wrote about a website called Uncommon
Goods. You can read that post here. Well, I decided that the one necklace (there’s
a dog and cat) was just too adorable to pass up and I had to get it. So here is adorable necklace that I couldn’t
pass up. I’m a dog lover and dog mom so
I really couldn’t resist!

BOPO Video went Live
In case you didn’t check back here yesterday, my Body
Positive video went live on my YouTube Channel (don’t forget to subscribe hehe)! I’ve been
working on this and wanting to tell all of you so so so so so bad! I’ve had this video in the works (with taking
pictures and what not) for a few weeks.
I thought of the idea a few months ago and personally thought it was a
fun idea, but thought that everyone else would think it’s a stupid idea. I asked a few of my friends and family what
they thought and they supported this video 110% so I went ahead and did
it. This video is supposed to be about
body positivity and how our confidence is molded by society at times. I wanted to show all of my
readers/followers/subscribers that I too struggle every day to love every inch
of myself. This is partially because of
my body image issues, but it stems from the media and society as a whole. I’m sure I’m not the only person who feels
this way. I’ve spoken to girls of all
shapes and sizes and a lot of women struggle with loving themselves because they
will find something they are not 100% happy with. That’s why I wanted to bring awareness to
this issue. I also wanted to make it
known to the world that the body positive movement isn’t just an excuse for “fat
people” to be “fat.” It is a movement to
remind men and women to love themselves for who they are. It took me a really long time to figure out
who I was as a person and now it’s time to learn to love myself and my
appearance. So what if I gained a few
pounds, that’s ok, I’m human. I think me
changing my hair actually helped which is weird, but I really think it started
the whole process on a different level.

First official mini vacation
I would like to proudly announce that boyfriend and I are
taking our first official mini vacation!
We are only going one state over, so I guess you can kind of consider it
a staycation too, but it is a few hours away.
We have decided to take a one night vaca for Valentine’s Day weekend
just to enjoy each other’s company and get out of our town. Apparently he told me that the area we are
going to is great for outfit pictures, so I will try to take some, but to be
honest I want to just enjoy him and his company. Follow me on Instagram though because I’m
pretty sure I’ll upload a picture or two during that weekend!

Really suits you, I'm naturally blonde and it does not suit me one bit, as a kid it did but now I'm dark and I feel so much more comfortable in myself! Hope your brother had a brilliant birthday.
