I’m still away on vacation, but for today’s post I wanted to
show all of you a few ways to get the most out of your closet. A lot of times we buy things as an impulse
buy and aren’t really sure how we will wear something without wearing it with
the same outfit. I know I definitely
have this problem. Below are a few ways
to wear pieces that when I first got I wasn’t sure if I would wear it more than
a few times, but I’ve been living in them!
Also, after all of my outfits I also added some more ideas for y’all
too.

Green Ralph Lauren Flowy Top
When I first got this green top from my mom I fell in
love. The colors, the cut, the fabric,
was all just so fabulous. I thought that
maybe this was going to be an impulse piece because it’s so bright and unique
that I wasn’t sure if it would match with everything I have. Well, I actually wore that first outfit to my
brother’s graduation because it was perfect.
I am loving loose fitting tops lately because since I’m currently in
between sizes and my weight has definitely been fluctuating (hence the lack of
fitness posts this year, my metabolism is definitely slowing down) so this top
is perfect. Another great part, it dries
extremely fast. Every time I go to the
bathroom at work I always splash myself but by the time I get back to my desk,
it’s dry. It’s seriously a great top!

White Pants
The day I got these I wasn’t too sure about them. They are white and corduroy pants. I haven’t worn corduroys since the 6th
grade and I try not to wear light colors, because for some reason I ALWAYS get
them dirty. Here are a few ways that I’ve
worn them in both cold and warm months, and I will definitely be wearing these
after Labor Day. Whoever came up with
that fashion faux pas was a little odd.
I mean, isn’t every day for the rest of the year considered after Labor
Day? So that would mean you can only
wear white on Labor Day. Yea, a bit
ridiculous and if the fashion police come and get me so be it!

Burberry Pants
These were an awesome deal!
At first I wasn’t sure because of the color and the little bit of
shimmer that almost makes them look like leather pants. As soon as I put them on I was convinced that
I needed them in my closet. Then came the
time to start wearing them and I was stumped.
How am I supposed to wear these pants?
What do I wear them with? How do
I make it look new and fresh every time?
Here are a few different looks that I had with these pants and I love
every single one.

Black Peep Toe Ugg Booties
Actually, in the last outfit idea with the Burberry pants I’m
wearing these UGG lace up peep toe booties.
I bought these at Marshalls probably about 3 or 4 years ago, and they
STILL complete every outfit. I have no
idea how that is even possible. I’ve had
these shoes for so long and they are still trending. When I first got them I wasn’t sure how to
wear them and I honestly didn’t wear them more than 3 or 4 times, then after a
few months I was living in them. Not
only are they comfortable, but they are such a statement shoe.

Also, don’t forget I’m on vacation but I’ll be back next week!

I love how you styled these pieces Monica. The green top is a dream. I love it with the flare pants and the denim pants too.
