If you’ve been following my blog for a while you already
know I’m REALLY into nail art. I’m
surprised how I get away with all of my crazy designs at the office. I think they are so used to it by now that
they don’t even notice when my nails are different designs every week. However, now that you’ve graduated and you
are job hunting you need to make sure everything in your appearance ties into
the mind set of “I’m a recent graduate but I AM an asset to your team.” This includes your nails. If you don’t normally paint your nails that’s
ok but if you want to paint them do something subtle. You can either paint them with a very (I mean
extremely) light pink, pearl, or beige color.
Or if you want you can also do a French manicure like I did. When I was in high school is when I started
playing around with nails and doing my own.
I had gotten my nails done a few times and decided why should I pay my
hard earned money working at Shoprite (lol) when I KNOW I could do it myself on
my natural nails. I tested it out a few
times and finally got it down pat, and then that’s when I started going into
actual nail art but that’s a whole different story.
your nails look classic and polished (no pun intended). I’m not a huge fan of how French manicures
look on acrylic or tips but some girls can really rock it. I decided to keep my own nails because it’s
just easier and not as painful when you change designs. Those drills really hurt sometimes haha. Anyway, I feel like this is the perfect type
of nail to have your nails look the part
of a winning interviewee!
Stay tuned for the rest of this weeks So You’ve Graduated series!
