Cooking in Heels. It took place at the
lovely Bloomingdales. I had such a great
time. First and foremost, let’s talk
about my OOTN. I decided to go with my
two staples, leopard print dress, and statement shoes. I figured it shows off my style while still
looking professional at the same time. I
added the fur vest because well, I was cold and because they are my favorite
thing this season. Of course I took my
Burberry Prorsum belt and had to accentuate my waist. Note to curvy girls like me, if you have a
small waist but you’re bottom heavy, try to emphasize your waist. Not only will it make your curves look nicer
but you’ll actually appear thinner. A
lot of people finally noticed my weight loss when I wore this, I guess because
I’m usually wearing looser fitting clothing.
I also added some bangles from my Etsy shop which is having a grand
reopening sale (15% off with discount code GRANDREOPENING) until Sunday
12/14/14! Now, let’s move on to the
actual event, shall we? Just to give you
a full warning this is a post jam packed with pictures and content!
night out, or rather girls night in. We started off with a few
awesome recipes for hummus and this delicious cranberry spread (I’ll list them
at the end of this post). Everything was
so good; I probably could’ve sat there and ate all night long. We also were introduced to some minor
workouts you can do in your heels while cooking for Christmas and some tips to stay fit during the holiday season. Believe it or not it they are actually pretty
good workouts (tips will be listed at the end of this post). Then we moved on to some lovely gift
ideas. As a blogger I feel like I’m
expected to give trendy gifts and gifts that my friends will actually like and
not just say thank you to be nice. I
loved all the pieces that were picked out and shown to us. You could find anything from temporary
metallic tattoos to Kate Spade mugs, to the go to gift of a candle.

Nadia Murdock Fit Holiday Survival Tips
Remember to breathe
Instead of trying to relax with a strong cocktail or a double fudge brownie you need to separate yourself. Try meditation or yoga.
Sneak in the healthy
Try to avoid grabbing that doughnut or cheeseburger when you’re in a hurry. Take an apple or energy bar in your purse instead of stopping at the food court. You can also try the Nadia Murdock Fit Kaleberry Smoothie which you can find here.
Remember to keep active
Try to find a way to schedule in at least 10-30 minutes of fitness at home.
