Gluten Free Cookies

I wanted to try a new recipe, a healthier one.  I’ve been baking a lot and the only healthy version is I just use half of the sugar that all of the recipes call for.  I tried to follow this recipe here.  I’m actually really bad at following recipes.
¾ cup of Gluten Free Flour, you can see which type I used
below.
½ Teaspoon of baking soda
½ Teaspoon of ground Cinnamon
¼ Teaspoon of salt
½ Cup of unsalted butter softened.  That should be a whole stick if you use the
same I do, I buy my butter from Shoprite.
½ Cup of packed brown sugar.
I used Tate and Lyles regular brown cane sugar.
¼ Cup of granulated sugar.
I personally don’t like extremely sweet desserts so I didn’t even add
this sugar to the mix.
1 Large egg
1 ½ Cups of gluten free old fashioned rolled oats
½ Cup of chocolate chips.
I don’t think I used this much, just because I wanted it to be as
healthy as possible.
¼ Cup chopped walnuts or almonds.  I substituted more walnuts instead of using
all of those chocolate chips.
1 Small box of raisins
Just as a side note to everyone.  If you are truly allergic to gluten please
make sure you read your ingredients just to confirm that it is ok for you to
eat.  Keep reading for the directions.

Directions:
1.  Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a
bowl.  I stuck this into my mixer and
didn’t use a whisk even though the recipe calls for one.
2.  Place butter and sugar into the bowl and beat with the mixer
until it is blended.  Add the egg and
make sure it is beaten well.  Stir in
oats, chocolate chips, raisins, and nuts.
3.  Make about two teaspoons worth of a ball out of the dough
and put it onto a baking sheet.
4.  Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Then you are finished!
Now the next step is to pour yourself a cup of milk and enjoy.
