Ok, what do y’all think of that fun pun?  I can’t help but love puns.  My husband hates puns and says they’re like dad jokes and apparently I have a lot of dad jokes.  I love the “you bet jurassican” pun because it’s just fun.  Plus, I couldn’t think of a good title for this blog post, so I figured some kind of dinosaur pun would e perfect.

THE WEATHER

The weather kind of took a turn for the worst. It started raining a lot and then it cooled down. Because of this we’ve all been a little stuffed up. It’ll be cold in the morning and warm up by the afternoon. 

If you know me, you know I’m a huge fall and summer fan. That’s why this dreary rain and cold just isn’t my jam. I love rain storms but not when it’s already cold. Unfortunately, this put a damper on our daily walks. It’s ok though, we’ll get back to walking once the sun makes an appearance again.

SOME PERSONAL THINGS

This week has been so hectic. I’ve been taking care of some personal matters and some that have to be handled with Poland as well. I’m pleasantly surprised at how well Scarlett has been doing out of the house. 

She doesn’t do very well outside of the house because she really hates her car seat and the car seat is the stroller. I was reading the manual and because of how fast she’s growing she’ll definitely reach the weight and length limit for the seat we currently have sooner rather than later.

EASTER OUTFITS FOR SCARLETT

The other day a series of Easter outfits popped up on my Instagram by Carter’s. Y’all, they’re so freaking cute. I don’t think we’ll be going anywhere for Easter, but I want to buy an outfit because they’re so darn cute.  I’m not looking for any outfits for me because I haven’t lost anything yet, but we’ll get there!

Also, just to add some adorable boy Easter outfit ideas as well, here are some great ones!  I’d actually mix and match some of these for Scarlett.  Some of them can definitely be more of a unisex rather than just boys.

WORKOUTS WITH BABY

As y’all know I’ve been feeling a certain kind of way with this baby weight. The walks have been great because the one day we walked 3.5 miles, but then it rained a bunch so we couldn’t go on walks. I figured there have to be workouts you can do with your baby. Well, I found some great ones! Scarlett loves it too because she gets to be with me but also bopping around. The first one kicked my ass. 

I’m about 45lbs heavier than I’m used to so it’s been more challenging working out. I can definitely see why people who are much bigger (and I don’t say that to be offensive) struggle to stay on a workout routine when it’s this challenging. The workout I did was simple and something that would’ve been a breeze pre baby. I know your body changes in general after having a baby but damn.
